How our signatories list was compiled and verified #
For signatories submitting from the global north, inclusion was set at Phd+ AND working/affiliated to an academic or scientific institution. For signatories submitting from the global south this was expanded to Masters+ AND working/affiliated to an academic or scientific institution.
Signatories submitted their own information to Scientist Rebellion via an online form. This generated an email to the signatory confirming their submission. An email was provided in case the recipient did not submit the information. Thereafter, Scientist Rebellion conducted desktop verification of all signatories to confirm academic status.
